We are pleased to announced that the New Level 2 Professional Security Operative Apprenticeship has gone live.
This security programme is professional standard for frontline security operatives and is applicable to both public and private security organisations / departments.
The new Level 2 Professional Security Operative Apprenticeship has been approved by government as a route for those wanting to join the private security industry, and for those already in employment who wish to progress. MD, Paul Lawton-Jones, was one of the employers, supported by the SIA, that helped contribute to this.
The apprenticeship will provide funded opportunities for professional training in core security skills, and allow employees to choose a specialism:
- Operational Security Operative
- Mobile Security Patrol
- Security Control Room Operative
